BURGIO. is a contemporary design studio based in Florence, Italy, creating small-batch ceramic homeware and collectible furniture. Designed for togetherness, where coffee and stories intertwine. BURGIO. pieces bring sculptural form, colour, and playfulness into daily rituals. Every object is designed in Florence and handcrafted in Italy, blending traditional craft with a modern, expressive approach.

The studio grew from a shared fascination with materiality, colour, and the emotional presence of everyday objects. BURGIO. began with a collection of sculptural stoneware tableware defined by clean lines and a warm, tactile finish: espresso cups, cappuccino mugs, fruit bowls and smaller bowls, each individually formed and glazed to celebrate natural variation.

As the studio evolved, the collection expanded into soft furnishings and limited-edition furniture, including handwoven wool cushions and sculptural marble tables. Each piece carries the same foundation of thoughtful simplicity, expressive geometry, and a deep respect for Italian craft.

In 2025, BURGIO. introduced the Super Glossy range, a bold new chapter for the brand. This vibrant ceramic collection features smooth, high-shine surfaces, saturated colours, and playful, compact forms. Hand-glazed in Italy, each piece reflects BURGIO.’s ongoing exploration of surface, tactility, and the joyful impact of colour.

BURGIO.’s aesthetic is shaped by the combined backgrounds of its founders, Isabella Burgio and Alireza Sadeh. Their experience in design and material research informs a shared approach to creating objects that are refined, expressive, and emotionally resonant.
